>>21300>What form would these archives be in anyways? Some kind of saved webpage? A some kind of big file?it would make the most sense for it to be the same files + database structure as the actual board, minus the ability to post. and with some edits to the frontend to make it appear visually as an archive as distinct from an active board. those changes have likely never been made, otherwise there should have been some evidence of it at some point. but basically it would be just like setting up a board, and then tweaking it so no one can post or edit things. a relatively easy thing to do for anyone who knows how to set up the site. the basic functionality should take literally minutes for someone like Zeke. making it into a visually appealing and presentable archive would take longer but is not strictly required.
>Also, Does Toy still own the headstone that is the old site?I'm not 100% sure. Also it depends on what you mean. Officially Toybox was the admin who went down with the ship, so in theory she still owns it. But I highly doubt she managed the domain herself since she's a retard and obviously had no idea how Ponychan worked. More likely Zeke was managing it for her by proxy and just doing whatever she said. I think the domain is on his account and that he is the one still paying for it and hosting the headstone.
Whoever it is, is demonstrating by the .net's continued existence that the reasons given for the shutdown have always been complete bullshit.
