The worst thing I see happening with AI is that if we're still stuck on social media we're going to miss the time when we had actual people to talk with.
People are often very monotone, short coming and repetitive. We tend to stick to what we know. For some time we will see an improvement in the variety AI has to offer but we will later ask ourselves what the point of it is.

Voidchan was genuinely a good place for a little while.

The problem is that the wrong people were trusted, emotion was allowed to seep and taint, and values were betrayed.

It was supposed to be a place for misfits, a bit of trolling, freedom to say whatever dumb ass opinion you had, and sharing jokes; but quickly turned into something toxic. While I've long since moved on from the Void, I will also say that I will never forget the feeling of an internet home when everyone and everywhere else felt like a personal club house for all of the internet cool kids.

It isn't something that eats at me or anything, but sometimes I do wonder what happened to everyone that posted there seeking refuge. Sometimes I wonder what happened to Cat, Smiles; even the old ponychan fags like Toybox and all.

I was so deep into the trolling that it felt like a blur; everything was a stage and our arguments, displays, and posturing was the show. And yet through all of that stupid shit, I do appreciate that it all happened. It taught me a lot.

Even now, I feel like I'm a better friend, lover, and overall person with how I treat others (outside of VRchat. Holy shit I go full on retarded.)

I guess I don't really feel that bad about it. I'm sure everyone is doing alright.
