Nah, the Last Airbender show. I never watched it from episode 1 to the end, so I decided I want to do that. So far it's been an emotional ride. I can't believe this was supposed to be a *kid's show*

I have a few weeds to take care of. My garden is starting to spring to life somewhat, so I probably have to water it later as well. First I'll pull the weeds, then mow, then water. The dead trimmings should be good for the soil.

Everyone kind of wins in the end.

Spoilers:

Sokka ends up with one of the best girls. (Suki.) Toph invents metal bending. Zuka becomes one of the greatest Fire Lords and earns the Fire Nations honor back. Azula ends up getting thrown in the loony bin, but eventually Zuko hashes things out in the comics. Aang and Katara end up together.

I just watched a few episodes of Korra. So far she's annoying as fuuuuuck. Aang's son is pretty cool though. The world is cool, but most of the characters are trash. Also I feel like Korra is both OP and underpowered at the same time and it's frustrating to watch. I also heard that Korra does some real smooth brain stuff as the series goes on.

So far yes. Let me back-peddle here a little..

To be fair, Korra isn't as annoying as I thought she was going to be -- And Sokka from the first show was pretty annoying when he was first introduced. He ends up going through a lot of character development and ends up one of the best characters in the show for me. I also do like that Korra isn't afraid to actually whip some ass with her fists and kicks in addition to bending.

The animation is better in Korra and the art style is still as solid as ever. /There are some characters who are making the show worth it. Aang's son is one cool ass dude.

Not currently, but next in the series is going to be The Ledgend of Genji. It's apparently about an Earth bender male. Which is cool. Though following patterns, that means to complete the cycle, the last would be a female fire bender. Which I can think of any other avatar as a female fire bender. They exist, but I haven't seen any other avatar fire benders other than roku and the other guy. So that is going to be extremely interesting. Genji has a cool design as well.

It just came very early to party, the second one to be officially released. It had the right publisher too, a big German toy and game company, and as such it was available in all stores that had any kind of boardgames. And I guess the Germans just liked the less fantasy heavy setting.

It was a human that could change into a dragon. It was forced to change cause it took a lot of damage as a human already.

The lava did hurt it too, but there was a magical protection field that kept temperatures and stuff lower than they were normally. But the fire did a lot of a damage at once.

My occasional houseguest called again, saying she was coming and needed $20 to put some gas in her barely working car. She said she had copper to sell as soon as she got into town, and would pay me back that money, plus some for some of the other money she's borrowed, and another chunk of cash for staying here a week (she usually doesn't pay me at all, but it's nice when she can now and then.) Aside from me sending her $20, nothing else happened as she said. Haven't heard from her; haven't seen her. It's possible she got arrested since there may be a warrant out for her.

Surprisingly, no, at least I don't think so. She's had a suspended license and so wasn't supposed to be driving. She got caught, and then failed to appear for her court date. So there might be a warrant out for failing to appear.
After the tornados here, the line crews just dumped the old lines everywhere. And so it was a free-for-all of who could cut up and recycle them. She and her girlfriend spent a lot of time doing that. I have no idea where this other alleged copper is from.

Yeah, they pick five games every week and you can compete in them.

The one where I did best was finishing world 1-1 of Super Mario Bros. as quickly as possible. Over 50,000 people took part.

I don't like speedruns that use bugs in the coding to do stuff you're not supposed to do in a regular game.

But just getting from A to B as quickly as possible, that can be fun.

I'm pretty sure they have removed all those possible glitches from the original NES titles. And the challenges are very specific so I doubt there can be any.

You have one week to give the five missions as many tries as you want. I'm already pretty happy with my results. I think at least one or two of them should do pretty well overall.

The challenges are first level of Kid Icarus, beating a Lynel in Zelda 1, getting the ball in Metroid, collecting all coins in a Mario screen, and beating the first level of Donkey Kong.

There's a screen up a waterfall with one lynel. You start on the screen and have to kill it.

Kid Icarus is a fun one, one of my favorites. Short but pretty tough at parts.
