Entering an e-mail is optional.

There are also code words you can enter here which perform certain actions when you submit your post.

  • sage — lets you post without bumping a thread.

/k/ claims to want a "second morning" over moscow. AnonymousCountry code: us, country type: geoip, valid: 1  20285

When they see a second morning over toropets, however, they claim it isn't.

They are lying duplicitous shills.
The sound at distance was the same as a "second morning" aswell.

>As the cloud lifted toward the stratosphere, I heard a sharp "crack" and, I don't know how else to describe it, but it absolutely was not the loud and rolling "BAADDOOM" that is often suggested by movie descriptions of such explosions. I remember being unimpressed by the sound given what I had just witnessed. Even one of the guys standing next to me remarked: "I don't know about you, but that sounded just like a big firecracker to me!", which meant to me he was similarly unimpressed by the sound. And that was it! - except that the memory of the power that resides in one of these weapons has never left me; notwithstanding the fact that the sound emitted seemed to be not much (but remember, we were a long distance away.)

>There aren't many of us guys left that have this experience to tell and, in one way, that's too bad. In reliving this experience over the years - and a few others that were similar - , I have often thought that everybody should know, firsthand, and really feel the power in these damn things. In fact, the best thing for preventing nuclear war might be, every few years or so, to take a good collection of world leaders out to a desolate site and light one of these big babies off to show them what these things really are. Maybe it would make a difference and maybe it wouldn't but one thing is certain, it would be an experience they would never forget.

Has this too

Blink and you'll miss it in the video (it's a fraction of a second)
You have to slow it down

>output.zip http://i.ompldr.pw/bvzdny.zip

>20 frames per second output:
From frame 1 to 23 it brightens
it then levels off and decreases slightly
30-36 it inceases slightly but not as much as before
At frame 70 it blinks out.

Some people claim the 1912 Tungunska explosion was caused by Nikola Tesla's death ray.

It was a year ago, september 17th-18th
I think the video is really cool, especially slowed down.

People get mad when I post it tho, don't know why. Like very mad.

That's a cool idea.
The explosions are caused by air getting heated up by soft-xrays (when an electron gets near the neucleus and then changes direction, or when an electron jumps from a low orbital all the way up to a high orbital), so the idea of doing it directly instead of with 1945 physics is interesting.

But how would you get the density of energy in a particular spot?

Sometimes I wonder if the explanation for the "double flash" isn't incorrectly given to us civillians:
The old 1 stage fission weapons don't seem to have them.

The 2 stage weapons do.
Wonder if it's the plasma from the different stages reaching peak visible-light emissions at slightly different times due to their different yeilds.

The newer halo TV series follows that idea: having the plasma directly induced by EM emissions instead of devices.

I remeber 4 hours after the seismic event, we saw a science website, from one of the detectors on the border with Norway-Russia say
"CESIUM 137 DETECTED!" "NORWAY-RUSSIA BORDER"
Then someone worked out that the direction of the wind that day was blowing from where the town with the seismic event was (usually it blows towards moscow, but not that day).

The site was basic, and I remeber it had thin blue lines above and below the text, which I remeber to be blue aswell.

It's gone now and all that remains are pop-sci articles.
(Later in the day the release was "clarified" "oh that was from a week ago, sorry" and then furthur clarified "oh that was just from chernoyble")
But I remeber when it happened.
Cesium 137 was detectable till the 25th.
