I've watched a lot of basketball over the years though - the greats (Dream Team era), the good (early 2010s), and the incredibly boring (GSW). Mostly I'm just really proud of the team representing my home state, not just because they're great players but because they put teamwork and each other first rather than relying on ball-hog stars to win games.

Nonny and I watched the OKC/Houston game last night. went to double overtime. super exciting game with great plays and ball movement. seesaw game where OKC looked like they were going to get beat, several times. But the crowd was wild even when OKC was losing. Then after it ended we watched part of the GSW/Lakers game. boring as fuck. no ball movement. crowd wasn't even into it. Nonny fell asleep while the game was on. major contrast in play style and atmosphere.
