>>18368>Do you enjoy any map/sim/strategy/4X gamesyes; they're among my favorites
>like Victoria 3I've not played Vic3 since it came out. It was highly flawed, especially when it came to warfare and tactics (nonexistent). The micromanagement for managing industry was also entirely out of hand. I haven't played it since. It's noteworthy that many of the core functions of base Vic3 were like a Monkey's Paw version of things I suggested in a video I made about my own would-be design for Vic3.
Victoria II was a much better game.
>Europa Universalis IVgreat game, with MEIOU & Taxes. base game is way too arcade-ish
>Crusader Kings IIInever got 3. didn't care much for 2.
>Sid Meier’s Civ IVone of the best games ever made. I notice you chose 4 instead of the travesties that came after. also one of the best "sound tracks" of any game. and Leonard Nimoy.
>Hearts of Iron IVnice gameplay, but not particularly interesting progression. I like long games, somewhat open-ended, and this one necessarily peters out after 10 years. especially bad if you don't pick a major to play as.
>Stellarisa fun sandbox for min/max-ing. I like huge galaxies with tons of entities and hardest difficulty.
Which ones have you played?
