Usually,, I envision a lot of fire. I try to buy lighter fluid and have a sober flame at least once a week to keep fresh fire in my mind in case I want to basically cast fire on a ghost or something hiding in time and space around me or otherwise invisible people or. Keeping razor blades and shaving razors is a great one, keep them mostly sober and then make them dimensionally holy when you sleep or when the ghosts are around, but in my line of work I deal with sentient people that are ghosts so they usually figure out a way to bypass that type of shit if I keep it on too much or do it too much. Smart "people" that are ghosts usually figure stuff out, which is why the truth is that nothing is better at keeping yourself safe from temporal anomalies, ghosts, invisibles, or other things: it's to straight up keep a gun around. No bullshit.

It's like repellent for faggotry and a lighter to the underbrush. Simply keeping a gun in ammunition around is a really great way to keep a lot of types of ghosts away from you. Especially if you go shooting it every once in a while. Keep sober pops fresh in your head and memory to summon in case something alive is giving you some shit or fucking with you. You going to go to a gun range every now and again to get those fresh gun shots in your head.
