I'm actually very creative, but I focus my time and effort on writing, not visual media. It takes a lot of work and time to be a visual artist, just as it takes a lot of work and time to be a writer. I don't feel like spending the extra time to learn how to draw or paint at the moment, so I use AI as an alternative when I can't afford to pay real artists.

The idea that you'd only hse AI because you're creatively bankrupt is hilariously stupid. So is acting like using AI to make art is the same thing as making it yourself, which I don't do.

Overall I don't really care what a random dipshit on the internet thinks, but I'm bored so I responded anyways.

I just don't do it that much. And yes, it's because drawing is a HOBBY to me. Not something I've tried to hone.

Dunno why folk seem to think we can't be lazy, or we're obligated to learn some difficult skill, just because we want a depiction of something neat.
At the very least this certainly doesn't somehow require less effort than finding a regular image online does.
