>>29025personally, i learned about it around 2009 when i was trying to find something (physically) non-addictive to potentially help with [an] anxiety my ponyfriend Fluttershy had been having ....
some of it binds to GABA-A a bit, which is one of the same binding sites as alcohol, although unlike alcohol, Kava Kava doesn't have dissociative effects and also acts as a mild anti-depressant. In addition it's healthier (just make sure you buy from a reputable company and generally avoid tudei kava) -- does have some drug interactions, so be aware of that...
...used to buy it back in the dayhoof ... never felt comfortable on more than 2 or 3 drinks tho, so usually just stuck with no more than 1 or 2 ...keeps your mind relatively clear and as it's considered a pro-social plant, is nice to watch ponies with (or, i imagine, do real social things with if you're into that) -- is considered a divine plant by the ponies who originally used it ...used in wedding rituals -- a highly revered plant
there are also different varieties with different phenotype lineups -- there seems to be a lot marketing for high-dopamine varieties but those aren't necessarily the best ...
>>29026>Will Kava Kava reduce the infernal, oppressive sounds wracked in my mind; desperate for sensation both in a physical and mental aspect?sounds like alcohol withdrawal or something, ngl
>Will Kava Kava clear my mind?probably not
>Will it make me forget the unstoppable loneliness and untraceable void of emotion that burns my soul and leaves me a frozen husk through waxing and waning moments of apathy and desperation?probably not but might (somewhat subtly, perhaps) chemically encourage u 2 b a better pony
>Will I finally feel loved in a way that cannot be replicated; to be desired, admired, and adored by someone to the brink of obsession?dunno
