I still haven't read Leviathan, Contact Harvest, Finity's End, 3 & 4 of Magus' Bride, Made in Abyss, or half the others across my shelf...

Books tend to go that way annoyingly. I'm at least at half, which is above average.

I think I still recommend it, even if I have issues.

I finished Siege of Vraks a little while ago, and started reading Dog Soldiers.
Vietnam War Journalist tries bringing back heroin to sell in the US and crooked cops follow. Its pretty good little expose on the 70’s cynicism.

I still need to give that one a go. I'm reluctant, because the last three big guard ones folk told me to read were dry as fuck.
Still, probably one of the cooler major campaigns in 40k, all in all.

Sounds an interesting premise. I used to read that sort of thing a lot, but for whatever reason I seem to've stopped in recent years.
Guess that;s kind of how it goes. Still, pretty sure I've got a sizable pile of Clancy-esque stuff lying around...
Albeit, I guess those usually are about the 'good guy'.

For sneege of vraks Ill be honest, the Imperial Armor Volumes are more enjoyable. This new book really focuses mostly om the Krieg which, while cool, ended up a small part of the larger battle itself. Its alright because of that, so dont rush to it. Unless you like Krieg and Infantry combat against Marines.

Id say this one is a nice piece of Americana, Clancy can be like, what would it be like to be a Navy Seal. This one, Dog Soldiers answers a, what was the 70’s like? Kinda question.
