No op, but extremely. Probably never going to stop being popular, since it's so easily modded into anything you want. It's been around 14 years ago when I used to administrate and host a huge server myself using mainly McMMO (RPG plugin, as the name implies) and Towny (alliance and territory plugin) as main plugins, and they're massively popular server plugins to this day. The original dev of McMMO even returned recently.
And that's only two of thousands of plugins to make the game into whatever you want.

I personally haven't played in years, got burnt out after hosting and admining such a large project on my own. I have thousands of games in my backlog to go through, and the only games I somewhat return to now and then is WoW Classic, a little Overwatch 2, a little Company of Heroes 3, a little Final Fantasy 14.

Just finished up Silent Hill f, and replaying it in New Game Plus, the game has a lot of new content for New Game Plus and switches things up so it's really damn fun discovering all the new stuff and twists. And you can get a lightsaber. Wee.

Oh yeah, sometimes I do get a brain block where I just can't think of how to describe something, then turn to GPT for ideas. It sounded like you were RPing with CPT playing a character of its own and just doing things between you and it.


At the moment, Im in a world-nation RP run in Discord with a bunch of friends, many of whom are ponychan OG's. We play nations, as their leaders and populace, against/with other player nations and thier leaders. At the same time there is the sort of mainline stories with three separate parties that go around doing and solving things while the nations interact, mainly played over Roll20. Its... very complicated but very fun. Been going on for 5 years now.
