Just finished flying tailgunner for this behemoth.
Was a blast. At first, we shreaded through most things, but man when you get some of the real hard missions, it becomes quite a terror. Enemies at all angles.
First time in ages I got motion sick.
Things ended when we came face to face with an Idris. It's a full-blown frigate, so no true shock there. Granted, "only" a frigate, but still, that's a capital grade ship. Even as big as our Hammerhead is, she's no capital. She's a gunboat at best.

Had to shoot down a bunch, and try to rescue the survivors.
There weren't actually anyone left, at the end. Such is life. But, at least I was able to finish out the mission, still, with a heafty payout. And more than that, I got some damn fine outfits.
Gunfights in SC are pretty jank still, sadly. But I kind of play for more the "RP" of it anyhow. So for me, it still worked. Space combat is a bit cleaner, by far.
