My dad's on a crazy work schedule, working 14 days in a row, then he's off this coming weekend, and then on for another 14 days. hell of a schedule for someone who just had a heart attack. I was helping my step brother these past couple of days. He bought a used ambulance for $30k for one of the services he directs, and we've been working on it at his house. I helped with tinting the windows, picking up and swapping out the headlights, diagnosing the fuses, and replacing the horrendously dirty air filter. Probably the biggest project has been removing the old decals and adhesive, but his EMT friend was mostly doing that. It started out as a janky beater of an ambulance, but now with the decals removed and some added spray paint, it looks pretty sharp. I'm back at my mom's now for a few days to help her with more stuff. On my way across the state, I stopped to catch up with an old friend who I hadn't seen in probably 28 years. Once I'm done at my mom's, I'll be back at my dad's for a few days while he's off, and then back home finally.
