>>2616 just kidding; it's dead out tonight. so I guess I'll stay home.
I got a handful of ships a while back I'm not sure if I mentioned. One is the
Augur, a Romulan epic 3* battleship. I also picked up the equivalent Klingon epic 3*, the
D4 interceptor. Along with the 'regular' epic 3*
Enterprise which I already had, I now have all the 3* epics. But I've not invested much in them yet because I'm focusing elsewhere. I also picked up the
Amalgam, which is technically a miner/transport ship, but is spec'd for base raiding. I've gotten a LOT of use out of it, and my babby
Amalgam is probably my 4th most useful ship utility-wise. The last ship I picked up is the
Mantis, which is spec'd for fighting against Actians. It has an interesting loop. You get 2 tokens a day to enter Actian space. Once there, if you beat certain ships you get temporary buffs to your
Mantis which makes it easier to beat the harder Actians that give more rewards. You take the rewards and refine them to give credits for Mantis upgrades, research, and faction progression. On top of that, it has a PVP support role, where you can 'sting' a ship using venom credits making it lose both its ability to warp out, as well as severely limit its combat capabilities. I've taken down ships massively more powerful than mine by stinging them first. It is
incredibly useful.
We had the server merger a few days ago. And now there's a PVP event. It's a shitshow. But I'm currently ranked #2 in a PVP event and should be able to snag #1 by the time it ends in about 12 hours.
There's a rumor that the next Incursions will be either this Friday or next week. I'll be streaming it
finally, since I won't be halfway across America for once.
I usually just end up watching the different endings on YouTube.
guess I'll do some Trekville and then try some website stuff.
